Dutch Semicon delegation visits UMC in Taiwan
Today, September 4, the Dutch Semicon delegation present in Taiwan because of Semicon Taiwan, visited UMC in Taiwan (Hsinchu Science Park).
Barry Peet: “We were welcomed by UMC division director Mr. John Chen. Mr. Chen gave a very interesting and inspiring presentation on the UMC company and roadmap. As no.3 foundry in the world, with a turnover of over 5B USD, UMC is a key player with offices and fabs all over the world, including the Netherlands. After the presentation we were taken into a virtual fab tour.”
