High Tech NL and the Amsterdam Chemistry Network (ACN) are strengthening their collaboration to advance innovation, knowledge sharing and consortium building in Life Sciences and related fields. With a Letter of Intent, both organisations bring their networks, expertise and activities closer together.

ACN is a network and platform organisation that connects companies, knowledge institutions and public partners around chemistry in the Amsterdam metropolitan region, with sustainability and life sciences as its main focus areas. By joining forces, High Tech NL and ACN want to create new opportunities for joint activities, public-private partnerships and innovation projects in which industrial needs and academic expertise reinforce one another.

For High Tech NL, the collaboration fits the role of the Life Sciences cluster: building ecosystems where technology, science and application come together. In Life Sciences especially, working across disciplines is essential to move innovative ideas towards application, validation and, ultimately, real-world impact.

In practice, both organisations will exchange knowledge on relevant events, workshops, funding opportunities and network meetings. They will also support each other in developing consortia, identifying complementary partners and exploring application-driven use cases for product development. By aligning their activities and networks more closely, High Tech NL and ACN aim to make relevant initiatives more visible and to spark new collaborations around innovation questions in Life Sciences. With this step, High Tech NL and ACN underline their shared ambition to accelerate innovation in Life Sciences and to strengthen the Dutch ecosystem.
