SEMICON Taiwan: a Dutch pavilion in Taipei
From 2 to 4 September we were at SEMICON Taiwan with nineteen Dutch companies and organisations, sharing 108 square metres right next to Silicon Saxony. All participants together showed how much of the value chain the Netherlands covers.
Next stop: SEMICON India, 17 to 19 September
The next pavilion is going up in New Delhi. We are there with fourteen companies and organisations.
India is building its own semiconductor ecosystem at speed: fabs, design centres, advanced manufacturing. If you work in equipment, materials, integration or R&D, that is worth keeping an eye on.
Quantum photonics: bringing startups into the European chips ecosystem
On 17 July we ran a free workshop in Maastricht for startups, SMEs and industrial players in photonics and quantum technology, alongside the Optica ImageSense Congress. ChipNL CC organised it with FiCCC from Finland and AT-C3 from Austria, as part of the EU Chips for Europe Initiative.
The afternoon was about finding your way: how the Chips JU ecosystem fits together, which funding routes are open to you, and what the Chips Competence Centres can offer in skills and training. Oost NL and TU/e JePPIX shared their experience.
Two days in Flanders: imec Leuven and Soitec
On Monday 12 and Tuesday 13 October, ChipNL CC is taking a small group of Dutch semiconductor companies to Flanders. Sensor technology, advanced packaging and heterogeneous integration are what it is all about.
Day one is at the Netherlands embassy in Brussels. You hear what Flanders and the Netherlands are each good at, and you meet around thirty Flemish companies over a networking reception and walking dinner. Day two takes you to imec in Leuven for the NanoIC pilot line, EuroCDP and a cleanroom window tour, and then on to Soitec in Hasselt.

NL@MWC: semicon, telecom and digital innovation
On Wednesday 23 September we are hosting a meetup at Noviotech Campus in Nijmegen, together with the NL@MWC Community Event and Ecosystem Services. It is part of the Dutch Digitalisation Week.
MWC Barcelona 2026 made one thing clear: Dutch semiconductor companies are becoming a real factor in telecom and connectivity. Axelera, Qualinx, Semiblocks and Eyeo all showed what Dutch technology brings to wireless networks, edge AI and energy-efficient connectivity. This afternoon is where we start preparing the Dutch programme for MWC Barcelona 2027, and where you can work out what your organisation could get out of it.
France: a Dutch pavilion at Global Industrie 2027
From 15 to 18 March 2027, NBSO Lyon and RVO are organising a Dutch pavilion at Global Industrie in Lyon for the first time.
Global Industrie gathers a large part of the French industrial ecosystem in one place. If you work in robotics, automation, smart industry, energy or advanced manufacturing, it is a low-threshold way to find out whether the French market suits you. You get a furnished spot in the pavilion, shared visibility, networking moments and help from NBSO Lyon in finding the right people.
