Technology Base Open House
Technology Base is nestled in a green setting between Enschede, Hengelo, and Oldenzaal. Companies develop and test new inventions, technologies, and materials here. Normally, you’re not allowed to visit. But on September 16, you can! That’s when the gates of the former Twenthe Air Base will open to visitors of all ages!
You’re right next to the runway at Twente Airport. That’s where the planes take off for the air show. You’ll see drones and other unmanned aircraft. You’re welcome to visit the Twente Safety Campus, where the fire department practices disaster scenarios. There’s plenty to do and experience during the Twente Safety Campus Safety Day.
