From intuition to prediction: AI in chemistry and materials

AI is changing how chemistry and materials science work. Research that long relied on experience and intuition is moving towards predictive models and autonomous labs. Day 1 of ChemAI 2026 is not about the promise but about getting it done, summed up by the organisers as “30% vision, 70% execution”.
