Explore the Austrian high-tech ecosystem

From October 7 to 9, 2026, the ChipNL Competence Center is organizing a program in conjunction with EBSCON 2026 in Graz. Dutch companies, research organizations, and ecosystem partners are warmly invited to explore the Silicon Alps region together.

The program offers a practical introduction to Austria’s semiconductor and high-tech sector, featuring company visits, insights into R&D, and networking opportunities throughout the Styria and Carinthia regions.

What can you expect?

You will gain firsthand experience with electronic systems, microelectronics, and related technologies. The focus is on knowledge exchange, best practices, and building new connections with industry and research partners. Key topics include smart sensor systems, RFID and wireless IoT, cybersecurity, power electronics, advanced materials, thin-film technology, cleanroom technology, and metrology.

Program Overview

On October 7, the program kicks off with participation in EBSCON 2026, an international conference conducted entirely in English. On October 8 and 9, the program continues with site visits in Carinthia and Styria, covering robotics, cleanroom technology, semiconductor testing, applied research, electronics prototyping, and RFID solutions.
